The Benefits Of Using A Vaillant Boiler

The benefits of using a Vaillant boiler

Vaillant are one of the leading manufacturers of boilers, heat pumps and heating systems. This article will take you through the reasons why Vaillant boilers are thought of in such high regard.

High levels of efficiency

Vaillant boilers are well known for their outstanding efficiency. A positive side effect of this is that your boiler uses less energy to heat your home, meaning that you can potentially save money on your energy bills. If you are environmentally conscious, then you will also be pleased to know that owning a Vaillant boiler will help you to reduce your carbon footprint.

Excellent Customer Service

When your boiler breaks down, you want a stream of support and guidance, until the problem is fixed. Fortunately, even after you have purchased a Vaillant boiler, you can rest assured, that the company will be on hand to help you solve any issues.

High water flow rates

If you have a home on the larger side, then you will need a high flow rate, to cope with your water demand. Luckily, Vaillant offer a solution. With Vaillant’s ecoTEC range, you have numerous, reputable options. Towards the higher end of the spectrum, there are models which reach a notable 17.8 litres per minute.

Multiple flue options

It is common for boiler manufacturers to offer horizontal and vertical flue options. However, if you are fitting your boiler into a tight space, then this might not be enough. With Vaillant’s innovative design, they have implemented a rear flue option for their ecoFIT Pure Boiler. Having a flue at the back of your boiler provides you with more freedom when deciding where to fit your boiler.

Vaillant boiler warranties

Vaillant tend to offer a standard warranty of between two to five years on all their products. If Vaillant’s installers carry out the installation, then the warranty period can be extended, up to seven to ten years, although, any repair work must be carried out by a Vaillant engineer.

Vaillant boiler problems and errors

While, Vaillant have a great reputation for the reliability of their product range, like any machinery, they can develop faults.

Low Pressure

If your radiators are failing to heat up properly, then you might have a problem with your heating system’s pressure. On Vaillant boilers, if the reading is below 1.5 bars, you have low pressure. If you find your suspicions are confirmed, then you could potentially fix the issue yourself.

Faulty gas valve

When a gas valve gets stuck, you may find that your boiler shuts down. If this is the case, you will not be able to reset it, until an engineer has fixed the issue, because when the valve is stuck, it means that the gas supply can continue to run even though the hot water and heating are turned off.

Frozen condensate pipe

As the weather gets colder, there comes the risk of a frozen condensate pipe. This part of the boiler usually runs from the boiler to the outside of your home, to dispose of wastewater. To unfreeze it, you can simply pour warm water over the pipe until the ice is thawed.

Worcester Bosch Boiler

Homeowners are still able to get a FREE boiler grant or insulation grant via the ECO scheme, which is still available to households that qualify.
