Thank you Warma UK for your help with the boiler installation and accessing the government grant. We didn't have hot water since just before Christmas so the new boiler is wonderful. The fitter was really kind and explained the new controls clearly. I felt a bit concerned about not using a local installer known to me but Warma were great and I would recommend.

The staff were always helpful and friendly. It took about 2 months to get the grant claim to be finalised. I did have a few hoops to jump through getting it all sorted as there was so much red tape. Once sorted it was full steam ahead. Calling the contact centre who were working from home the staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. Rob and Danielle pushed my application through. As my claim was over 2 years the criteria changed and I needed to provided more information and photos. The equipment arrived before installation and the workmen arrived on time. It took 3 days for the complete installation. The workmen were conscientious and kept me informed, we did a walk through to discuss location of boiler and the radiators. This was a difficult job with my flooring being lifted upstairs for the pipe work. The workmen Dave, Steph and Steph worked well with each other came in and just got on with it. They put dust sheets down and ensured they kept my home clean and tidy. Well done the experience was a great one.

How refreshing to deal with such an efficient and friendly company. Completed my grant application last night, expected to wait days but had a call today from James Luff to go through the initial steps of applying for the grant. He was a pleasure, informative, polite, efficient and appeared genuinely invested in my application so it’s a very good start - fingers crossed the rest of the process is as easy. Stop the Presses........... Warma UK have been brilliant from start to finish..... I initially spoke to Rob who was very knowledgeable and guided us through the process with ease, we were given a grant towards the cost of the boiler as on Attendance Allowance which Warma were very well versed in and made it easy to understand, after a brief time for the grant to pass and payment to process.... I was past over to the installation team and a very friendly and helpful professional named Liam, he made things even easier, kept me updated on the process and even though they were dealing with lockdown, corona virus causing problems and people working from home made it feel like there was nothing different going on. Our installation went ahead as planned and the installer was very helpful adherent to social distancing and wearing masks all the time. Liam on the day was also in contact with me making sure everything was going well and after completion made sure we were happy with the job done! Furthermore has offered a refund for unused pipes which was a kind and generous thing to do. All in all a brilliant process from start to finish! Amazing customer service! Would 100% recommend Warma UK if you are looking for home improvements. Many thanks to Liam, Rob and team.

Are there any grants for over 70's with no central heating?

Yes, central heating grants are now available for homeowners, private tenants and landlords. The central heating grant is part of a government back scheme called the Energy Companies Obligation or more commonly known as ECO. In some cases the scheme can cover the full cost of the work carried out and it does not have to be paid back. In other cases a small contribution may have to be made towards the grant.

Providing that homeowners, private tenants and landlords like yourself meet the criteria for the ECO scheme, Warma UK can arrange for you to receive a free no obligation survey from an approved ECO installer working in your local area. I had boiler replaced two weeks ago , everything went smoothly as I have been expecting, engineers came on site spot on time everything boiler is working good , place left tidy , i am impressed with Company Warma , definitely would give 5 star

Don’t often do reviews but felt this warranted one. A little slow getting the fitting date sorted out but once this had been sorted everything was plain sailing from start to finish. Can’t fault the engineer who fitted my combi boiler. Nothing was to much trouble to him, explained everything has he went along. Would recommend without hesitation.

The old boiler and tank were removed and the new condensing boiler fitted by the two installers from XL Heating. They were friendly, informative and tidy, working well as a team for two days.
So far very happy.
