The UK emergency repair and home improvement website Homeserve is expected to announce a pre-tax profits rise to £191 million after the nation in lockdown continued to do up their homes, and many more working from home increase the wear on their boilers.
Many heating companies alongside Homeserve continued to deliver for customers throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, which has resulted in the firm reporting a profit of £181 million for the prior year.
The company, which runs the Checkatrade website alongside a round-the-clock emergency repairs business, previously told the market it saw revenues of £536.7 million in the six months to September 30th 2020, up 17% on the same period in 2019.
Today it said the “renewed focus on homes during the pandemic highlighted the value of Homeserve’s core propositions across its membership and home experts businesses”.

Homeowners are still able to get a FREE boiler or insulation via the ECO Energy Grant, which is still available to households that qualify. Warma UK are currently working throughout the UK helping privately owned and rented homes to improve home energy efficiency and save money on rising energy bills.
